My advice? No matter how happy you are that winter holidays are coming, if you’re not an experienced seamstress, leave the thread and needle alone. It’s risky to try and make a cheery and tasteful sweater at home since your Christmas joy might make you go overboard with colors and sequins.

Either buy a Christmas sweater from a trusted retailer or keep it very low with just 3 snowflakes sown at the neckline or on the shoulders.
